Here is another sample I found for Vaseline lotion. With cold weather here it is a good idea to use a high quality lotion. Here's the link for the sample: https://secure.startsampling.com/sm/100469/captureAddress.iphtml?item=100469&source=&p=&key=5aaa3e528409ba19078d51f2d5d095cf

Shana,
Okay, now I may be an extremely super cheap (or frugal as I prefer to be called), but I started out by signing up for shadow shopper for free. They send you emails frequently about companies that are looking for shoppers. In the emails many of them will say something about the company like "Marketforce is looking for individuals to do retail shops". Then just do a yahoo search and bam, you've found a new company. I also found a lot of mystery shopping companies one time when I was looking at some forum...I've tried to find the website again but I can't find it. There was one website that I found out about by reading someone else's blog. You go to the website and sign up once and it automatically matches you up to a whole lot of other mystery shop websites because I think they run off of the same system or something...and of course I can't find that one either. This was all before I started my own blog or else I would've kept up with the website addresses. The way I got started was just signing up with about 15 companies by doing my own research and going from there. For me, I'd rather spend a couple of hours to do searches and find my own companies than pay for it but that's just part of my frugal nature. FYI..There are some other companies that I've done shops for and am waiting on payment before I post about them. If you'll keep up with my blog I plan on doing one this week about the way that I keep track of the mystery shopping companies that I've signed up for. I am open to questions and ideas for posts. I'm just posting right now about things that I think I would've found useful as a new shopper. Hope that answers your question and I hope that your school year will be great if I don't hear from you again (but I hope I do).

Nirra

Hi Nirra,

Thanks for the advice. But what is the name of the service provider you use? I would like to start doing the same thing you do, but was not able to locate the name of the service you use.

Thanks,

Shana

Hi Shana,
I haven't personally used Shadow Shopper, but I've heard that they are okay to use. For me personally, I just don't want to pay for jobs. As far as mystery shopping goes I think that it's an excellent way to earn extra money and I think you'll really enjoy it. It fits perfectly with a teacher schedule because it is so flexible. Thanks for the post and feel free to ask any other questions you think of and I'll try to help.

Hi Nirra! I was reading your blog and I am interested in doing the same thing as you. I am currently a student and a Pre-School teacher in Southern California. However, I am apprehensive towards selecting a agency that is not a scam. I was looking at the agency called "Shadow Shopper" and they seemed legit in their services. Have you heard of them and are they safe? If not, are there any agencies that you can recommend? Any help that you could offer would be great...thank you so much for your help!

Shana
